Establishment of Arts College Badnera, presently known as Narayanrao Rana Mahavidyalaya is a step taken as a mission to realize the dream of the great visionary Sant Gadge Baba to educate and uplft students from all sections of the society. Our college has been working in the direction for more than two decades.

The meaning of the above mentioned Sanskrit maxim is from the Darkness of Ignorance to the Light of Knowledge. Swami Vivekananda says Knowledge is Life and Ignorance is death. Education is a medium to make one literate, knowledgeable and cultured. Keeping in mind the motto, i.e. to lead the people of this area to the light of knowledge from the darkness of ignorance, we are attempting sincerely to provide quality education in this vicinity.
